The 4 Steps Of Event Curation
Share
At NCEG, we're empowering you with the skills and knowledge to take center stage in the entertainment industry. One of the biggest skills you need to learn is event curation.
Event curation refers to the process of meticulously planning, organizing, and designing an event to ensure it delivers a memorable and impactful experience for attendees. There are four crucial steps to event curation:
1. Vision
2. Planning
3. Execution
4. Analysis
Vision is all about clarifying the purpose of your event. You can find inspiration in going to other events and seeing what you like and dislike. Unleash your creative vision!
Planning is all about preparation and creating a checklist of what needs to be done, whether it's creating a vision board, or simply writing down who to contact.
Execution is the step you've been working on since the vision board stage. Now you figure out where the money is coming from.
Analysis is about dissecting key metrics after the show. These metrics could be ticket patterns to engagement levels. Were there people who bought tickets, but didn't show up? Why didn't they show up? These are questions to keep in mind.
Now go curate your next event!
