Georgia State University’s Pantherpalooza just got a whole lot more lit this year, and it’s safe to say it was a full-on NCEG takeover! GSU kicked off their Spring Fling on April 11th, the event brought the energy and set the stage for a night to remember. The headliner, Sexyy Red, brought the crowd to life, alongside the smooth vibes of Mariah the Scientist and a hometown performance from GSU alum DreTL.
The night was packed with incredible talent, showcasing NCEG's rising stars such as Jay Activist from the Kennesaw State University Chapter, Dreek Jones, and DJ WavyH20, all bringing their unique sounds to the stage and giving the crowd exactly what they came for – straight heat.
Held at the Convocation Center in Atlanta, GA at 7 p.m., the 2025 Pantherpalooza was a major success, effortlessly merging student culture with top-tier entertainment. The event reinforced NCEG’s influence and unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation of artists and music professionals in the city.
In addition to the event, the NCEG Georgia State chapter partnered with JB’s Record Lounge to celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday, April 12th. That event was coordinated by Amadi Jae and Yaseen Sideeq.
Also, five current NCEG CE’s – Gaitway, H.E.R.U, Hinano, Asiko, and Mofetti – are set to perform at Georgia State’s 2025 Spring Carnival on Friday, April 18th, coordinated by Khelsie Washington.
