National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) to Host Summer Training Camp at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School

NCEG, a leading nonprofit organization empowering the next generation of entertainment industry leaders, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School for the hosting of its highly anticipated summer training camp.

The summer camp will take place at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School, a distinguished college preparatory institution located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. As a part of this unique collaboration, NCEG will be producing a series of concert-level productions inside the school's gymnasium on the fourth Saturday of May, June, and July, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Founded in 2013 by college students at Georgia State University, NCEG has been dedicated to providing hands-on training and support to students pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.

"At NCEG, we believe in empowering students by giving them the opportunity to bring their creative visions to life," says Derek Jackson, CEO of NCEG. "Our partnership with Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School allows us to expand our reach and impact, providing valuable training and educational opportunities to students in the Atlanta area."

Throughout the summer camp, participants will engage in all aspects of event production, including artist branding, audio engineering, concert management, and content production and editing. The culmination of their efforts will be showcased in the form of monthly concerts, expected to draw over 800 attendees per event.

"We are excited to challenge our students to transform the Cristo Rey gym into a professional concert venue," adds Derek Jackson. "These concerts will not only serve as a masterclass in event production but also as fundraisers for both Cristo Rey and NCEG programming in the Fall."

The camp is open to both high school and college students, with priority access given to members of the NCEG program and current students of Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. NCEG aims to enroll 20-30 participants; however, if slots remain available, applications will be opened to students across the metro Atlanta area.

As part of the training process, students will have the opportunity to select performers for the concerts. Performers must meet NCEG's criteria, including the ability to perform clean music and have an affiliation with NCEG.
